Twelve Hotel- Atlantic Station - Atlanta - 9/5/2009

This wedding started off at Atlantic Station, at the Twelve Hotel. Shelley and Thomas were a great couple to work with, as you can tell from the fun shots we got. The ceremony was held at Thomas' parents house. The whole event turned out to be a very exciting fun filled day. I just really enjoyed meeting so many fabulous people. I had the privilege of shooting this event at Piedmont Park on the south end at Park Mill in the Piedmont Room. Michelle and John were just an amazing couple to photograph, as were the whole bridal party. It was a warm summer day, with the temperature around 100 F.

Megan learned the basics of swiming last year, thanks to Mary Chambers the daughter of Paul and Suzanne Chambers. Megan was so scared of water last spring that she could not even stand it on her face, but after Mary broke her fear, she is swimming like a fish. Mary has taught so many kids in the Athens and surounding area to swim. Megan is such a brave one now, I just had to let her try out my SCUBA gear. As you will see, she LOVES it!

What a Awesome Day and a Awesome Couple! Johanna and Kacey are a wonderful union! I had the great opportunity to shoot this wedding for this couple in downtown Atlanta at the Grace United Methodist Church in Midtown. Wow, we had so much fun! Such wonderful families becoming joined by the marriage of this couple. The event was coordinated by Nicole Jones Events and she did a fabulous job. Everything flowed so nicely all day! The reception was held at the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern, which is at Piedmont Park. I just love the tall buildings of Atlanta in the background. HERE IS A SLIDESHOW.

UGA CAES Recognition Ceremony - May 9, 2009

Last Saturday I had the privilege to photograph the UGA recognition ceremony at the Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall. This one was for the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Let me start off by saying this is one of my favorite times of the year for shooting weddings. The weather is not too hot or cold, and the flowers are just gorgeous! Meredith and Alan are such a great couple, and were so easy to work with. The wedding ceremony took place at The First Baptist Church in Greensboro. This church has been around since the late 1800's, and has beautiful stained glass windows. The reception was at the Hall/Thomas House, which is right down the street from the church. We all had a fabulous time! Many blessings, Meredith & Alan!

Gwinnett Historic Courthouse - Lawrenceville, Ga. 3/28/09

It was nice meeting this wonderful couple, Nicole and Mark, for this most beautiful wedding event. It was held at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, in downtown Lawrenceville Ga. The ceremony was to be held in the outdoor Gazebo, but as you might know, it rained all day Saturday. Everything worked out very well indoors. Great families, great food, and great location, made this a very exciting day. I want to thank Nicole and Mark for letting me record this special day in their lives. This was one of my favorite weddings this year. Lauren and Brian were so happy and ready to tie the knot. As you will see in the first few pictures, Lauren and Brian had hand written love letters with gifts. I know I always say I loved the families, but I really did love these families! I always love to shooting destination weddings. This one was in Fort George Meade, Maryland. This is a Army Base, that is between Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Great wedding at a great church! The Antioch Baptist Church is located right next to the Georgia Dome in downtown Atlanta. The bride, Lanika, and groom, Kerry, had a very beautiful day. Marriott’s Evergreen Conference Resort

Another fabulous weekend, and the Marriott's Evergreen Conference Resort was a gorgeous venue for this awesome wedding. Andrea, Craig and family really know how to have fun, and this will be a day to remember for many years to come! The ceremony was supposed to be held out on the deck overlooking the lake, but a huge thunderstorm moved everyone indoors. The Evergreen wedding coordinators were prepared for this weather situation, and had the same setup ready indoors, for this most beautiful wedding event. The receptions was huge fun and was led by Matthew Pastore from Spectrum Entertainment.

Georgian Terrace Hotel - Cator Woolford Garden

Last Saturday, a very special, and fun couple, Heather and Jeremiah got married at the Cator Woolford Garden that is located at the Frazier Center, in Druid Hills, off of Ponce De Leon Ave. We did some of the pre-ceremony shots at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. We all had the most fun for such a drizzly rainy day. I am thankful for water resistant cameras. Heather did not mind getting a little wet, and getting the wedding dress a little dirty around the bottom. What a great time, and such GREAT family's. The whole event was greatly planned and coordinated by Suzette Wilson of Gooseberry Creative Events. Suzette really is very experienced in the Atlanta area. Here is Heather and Jeremiah's Slide Show

High Key background

Here are examples of two different baby sessions. These are samples from the 6 month session of our First Year Edition. The 6 month is special, as baby is just learning to sit well. Each stage is so incredibly important. We had so much fun doing these sessions! We think the "all white" or high key background really draws the attention right to the subjects face and eyes.
